Turn your Trauma into an Opportunity for Growth

Aurora Eggert

Ever heard of the term: Post traumatic growth?

Asking for help,

Feeling stuck and reaching out to someone for guidance is not for Sissies.

It takes tremendous amounts of courage.

Especially when you are in a position of leadership and have great responsibilities.

You admit to yourself that it’s time for genuine change and that’s always hard.

Especially for your conditioned ego that clings to belief systems and identifies with all sorts of things.

Starting to sit with your feelings and being present with yourself is not a blissful experience!

Years and decades of distraction will have you wanting to run away from allowing reflection and confrontation with some truths you tried to escape from with:

Workaholism

Alcoholism

Caregiving of others to forget about yourself etc.

For some people starting to face their demons can feel like intense fear of death.

Starting to take ownership for mistakes made is terrifying.

Starting to forgive,

Starting to be in the NOW is scary.

Feeling your own power and radiance – letting go of all coping mechanisms and “just being you “is a terrifyingly liberating place to be !

Once you feel ready to embrace your hurtful past and to turn it into an opportunity for growth – there is no turning back – a strong forward motion to a new sense of self will drive you and you can’t help but surrender to it.

I guess I choose to work in this profession – guiding people to their strongest version of themselves – cause it assures me that I won’t be in contact with cowards and spineless people.

But with warriors and warrioresses

Love A.
