Learn why Aurora is so dedicated to hold space for people who are going through dark times at The Yurt Experience with Aurora Eggert Coaching

At The Yurt Experience and Aurora Eggert Coaching, we believe in the power of embracing the darkness within us. Sometimes, we need to sit with the darkness, face it head-on, and even sleep alongside it. This journey isn’t for the faint-hearted—it’s a path that makes us feel more human, more real.

Trigger Alert: This post delves into deep emotional experiences and may not be suitable for everyone.

Just as a fitness trainer must understand the struggles of weight loss to guide others effectively, a life coach or intimacy coach must navigate their own crises, pain, and suffering to truly serve their clients. It’s through personal experience, not just book knowledge, that we remain connected to the human experience, stay humble, and cultivate true compassion and empathy.

2:0 – Miscarriage: A Personal Journey

These past weeks have been nothing short of brutal for me. Rage, powerlessness, deep sadness, loss, unworthiness—these feelings have overwhelmed me, leaving me stuck and dead inside. It’s been a time of profound darkness, one that I didn’t see coming. But how could a caterpillar know what it’s like to be a butterfly?

I’d love to shed these heavy emotions and feel light and worthy again. On a personal level, I’m struggling, yet on a business level, my desire to serve and help others remains strong. It’s a strange duality, one that makes me wish I could live recklessly and carelessly, free from the weight of others’ expectations.

But I know that’s just my rage speaking, and I must be careful not to let it consume me. I’ve always been naturally drawn to the darker side of life, and perhaps it’s time I own that part of myself.

Making It Easier to Talk About the Hard Stuff

We need to make it more natural to talk about pain and suffering. When we open up about our struggles, we make life in our society easier. We connect with each other in deeper, more meaningful ways. The more openly we embrace the parts of ourselves that others have shunned, the more liberated and free we become.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to my partner, who has been handling this situation with grace and strength. He allows himself to feel sadness and express it, cooks for me every morning, supports me in every way possible, takes good care of himself, and holds space for my rage and sadness without taking it personally.

Finding Comfort in the Yurt and Community

Setting up camp in the cool evening air of the yurt, snuggling with our dogs and my sweetheart, has been a great help. I’m deeply grateful for the beautiful souls around me and the support we’ve received. This journey has been a reminder that we’re not alone, and that’s something we all need to remember.

If you’re going through a similar experience, know that you’re not alone, and you are enough. It’s okay to embrace the darkness—it’s part of what makes us human. Contact me to chat further and maybe find out if I can be a stepping stone in your healing journey. coach-us-aurora-eggert-coaching
