Inclusion & Respect

Our vision is to reach the broadest audience, no matter their wealth, location, language and practice background.

We want to create an environment that invites participation from people of all races, social or economic status, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientation free from discrimination, patronization or harassment.

What You Can Expect

Equality, diversity, and inclusion are central to the goals of The Yurt Experience/ Aurora Eggert Coaching. However, as a global service our approach to equality, diversity, and inclusion may not be that of one singular perspective but aims to integrate many different perspectives on the topic.

  • Equality at its heart is about removing barriers, biases, and obstacles that impede equal access. We are emphasizing equality of opportunity.

  • Diversity is about progressing towards a community that reflects our global embodiment community and the diversity of society on various levels.

  • Inclusion is about creating programs and an environment that is free from discrimination, where every participant is welcome, included and respected.

In order to promote the above goals of equality, diversity, and inclusion, The Yurt Experience / Aurora Eggert Coaching aims for:

  • Wellness Facilitator Diversity – recruiting wellness facilitators and teachers from diverse populations, backgrounds, and practice areas within yoga, alternative medicine and embodiment practices to increase diversity in thinking and perspective. We recognize that wellness facilitators and teachers will come representing intersectional identities. In our organizing processes, we will seek to identify the richness of what embodiment practitioners bring in their being and in their practice(s). We are actively seeking to increase the diversity of our participants, teachers, and sponsors.

This is an ongoing process. We have focused on strategy and implementation support for equality, diversity and inclusion goals of our services and offerings. We also added a track for peace and social change as an approach to embodiment.

Depending on what you are interested in (public/ group setting 1-1 or couples format), Aurora will make sure that you feel safe during the Yurt Experience on a emotional, mental and physical level. First and foremost, you will enjoy genuine connection to yourself by listening to Aurora’s guidance to connect to your body and mind. Aurora will host seminars/ workshops to specific topics around your well-being and relationships.

Aurora’s intention with the Yurt Experience is to support your mind to release tension by doing different kind of practices. Aurora will hold space for you where you can come to express yourself. In addition to this, Aurora provides you with tools on how you can support yourself in the best possible way.

The Classes will be kept to maximum 8 people at a time. You can either engage in the physical poses supported by blankets and bolsters or just sit / lie there in silence.

Aurora will assist you and if you wish to you will also receive subtle hands on guidance for deepening your breath and the purpose to raise your body awareness.

Aurora will guide you with her voice and sometimes use tools to make subtle/ healing sounds with instruments.

Last but not least, the fireplace (inspected and certified) will give the Yurt Experience the finishing touch of natural sounds and genuine warmth to make you feel welcome and cozy.
